Martha Kalana is a Certified Forensic Psychologist (Reg. Number 846) who holds a Psychology degree from University of Crete, an MSc in Counselling Studies from University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Forensic Psychology from UCLan University. As continuing professional development, she has been trained in Trauma management, in Couple and Family Counselling, in Divorse management, in Counselling children and young people, in domestic violence, in child sexual abuse and in gender/sexual issues.
She has more than 10 years of experience in private and public settings such as domestic violence, child sexual abuse, child protection and addiction treatment, working with both victim and perpetrators. She also works with general population as Personal Development Counsellor.
Her therapeutic approach is adapted in each individual’s needs, but it is mainly affected by Person Centre Therapy. She also uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy elements. She provides one to one as well as online sessions to adults, couples, families, children and young people.
