Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a form of treatment that helps people, through talking with a trained therapist, to address psychological issues, emotional difficulties, and behavioural problems. It aims to improve mental health and well-being through various techniques and approaches tailored to the individual’s needs.
Clients, with the help of a therapist, can learn how to take control of their lives, eliminate troubling symptoms, and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills. Psychotherapy may be implemented on an individual, family, couple, or group basis. It is effective in treating both children and adults. Confidentiality serves as the fundamental requirement that fosters the therapeutic process.
